Prince's Trust Team Leader – Hyndburn team
Salary Scale 6 - £23,398 – £27,668
36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible working arrangements.
This is a challenging but immensely rewarding role, delivering the Prince's Trust Team Programme to young people in the 16-25 age group in Lancashire. The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a personal development programme that enables young people to develop their confidence, motivation and skills through teamwork in the community. It brings together people of different abilities, circumstances and backgrounds – both employed and unemployed.
As a Prince's Trust Team Leader, you will hold or be willing to work towards an appropriate teaching qualification; with GCSE's grade C or above in English and Maths. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Able to work outside normal office hours is an essential requirement, as is a current driving licence.
You will demonstrate a commitment to equality and embrace diversity. The ability to empathise with young people, working with them – often resolving conflict – and supporting their development will come as second nature to you, and you will have the skills to liaise effectively with the various agencies and professionals who deal with the young people on a daily basis. Additionally, you will have experience of managing health and safety issues and undertaking risk assessments.
If you think you have the skills and experience to make a difference in a young person's life, apply now.
