Fires on building sites are both an inconvenience and danger to public but also a financial burden on the builder. Building sites are covered by the Construction Design and Management Regulations. The building sites may also have buildings that are subject to the duties of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
A leaflet is available to download giving good practice to be adopted on building sites for fire safety. A link also exists for detailed advice http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/books/hsg168.htm. This contains advice for all sites and includes advice for multi-storey and timber framed buildings under construction.
