The English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL) Fire Safety Presentation is a resource pack which can be used with specific groups within the community, such as ESOL students, to help them become Fire Safety Aware. The presentation takes a primarily visual and practical activity approach where discussion is encouraged in order to create the best possible opportunity of getting the relevant messages across. Due to this approach and nature of its design it can also be used in other situations, including with those for which English is their first language, according to the circumstances and needs of the learners.Curriculum and Citizenship links
The ESOL Fire Safety Presentation contributes to the overall delivery of a planned Safety Education programme in your organisation. Not only does it raise awareness in the learners to possible fire risks in the home and promotes safety conscious behaviours but it also stresses what action needs to be taken in the event of fire. How to book an ESOL Fire Safety Presentation Session
