The Audit of Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2011 in respect of the above has been concluded. The Statement of Accounts will be open to inspection by any local government elector for the area of Lancashire from the 14th October 2011 at the Offices of the Clerk to the Combined Fire Authority, LFRS Headquarters, Garstang Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 3LH, between the hours of 8.45am and 5.00pm on Monday to Fridays inclusive and any such local elector may make a copy thereof, or take extracts therefrom, without charge. A copy of the Statement will be sent, on request to any such local government elector without charge.
The Statement of Accounts presented are the audited accounts for 2010/11. This includes an analysis of the Authority’s financial position, statement of responsibilities, annual governance statement and the main accounting policies.
Budget Booklet
The Budget Book provides a detailed break-down of the budget for the current financial year and shows how it will be funded.
Each year the council tax leaflet, which is provided to all households in Lancashire, includes a section for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service. The leaflet gives a summary of our recent performance along with some details of how we intend to develop services.
The Annual Governance Report sets out the key elements of the Authority’s governance framework, explains how this has been evaluated and highlights the outcomes of the assessment of effectiveness and any areas for improvement.
The Authority is required to publish the Annual Governance Statement, in conjuction with the Annual Governance Report, to review the effectiveness of the internal controls in place.
Audited RMB Annual Return for year ending 31st March 2010
The Authority is part of the North West Regional Management Board and is required to publish the Annual Return, summarising their annual activities at the end of each financial year.
