Aims & Objectives

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service aims to 'Make Lancashire a Safer Community'. In order to achieve this, we have identified five key priorities.

Our key priorities are:

• Reduce Risk

• Enhance Resilience

• Tailor services to meet local needs

• Promote equality and diversity

• Improve value for money

In order to achieve these priorities we have listed five key objectives:

• Reduce the number of emergency incidents and their consequences

• Ensure a safe, healthy, competent and representative workforce

• Reduce the impact on the environment

• Help build stronger, healthier and more sustainable communities

• Deliver affordable value for money services

The employees of Lancashire Fire and Rescue are important to achieving these  priorities and objectives and this is what the public can expect of us:
