The Combined Fire Authority (CFA)

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service is administered by the Lancashire Combined Fire Authority, and funded by local taxpayers.

It provides a wide range of preventative, protective and emergency response services across the County.

Lancashire Combined Fire Authority is an independent body whose main job is to provide an efficient and effective fire service for Lancashire. The Authority is made up of Councillors from Lancashire County Council, Blackpool Borough Council and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.

Lancashire Combined Fire Authority has its own website. The Service also has a Democratic Services Team who deal with the Authority meetings and members.
