Welcome to our Best Value page.

Each year all Fire Services have to produce a Best Value Performance Plan by 30 June each year. This plan provides information on the previous years performance and our plan and targets for the next year.

Prior to this a summary information leaflet is produced by April each year. This document is produced prior to statistics being available.

To help us improve our service we regularly review parts of the organisation carrying out Best Value Reviews. These reviews go through a process and methodology that incorporates a challenge process, a comparison with other similar organisations, a competition element and consultation with those stakeholders who are relevant to the review.

The reviews are reported to the Combined Fire Authority with recommendations, which are also monitored by the Authority.

The outcomes of the reviews help us to identify our strengths and weaknesses and are an important part of our drive for Best Value.
