The best way to save a life is to prevent a fire happening in the first place, which is why Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has a key role in fire prevention across the County.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service promotes fire prevention in a variety of ways, from working with local schools, to one of our crews visiting your home and giving valuable safety advice. We will even fit a free smoke alarm if necessary.
