Best Value

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service aims to provide the Best Value for the people of Lancashire.

Each year all Fire Services have to produce a Best Value Performance Plan. This plan provides information on the previous year's performance and our plan and targets for the next year.

Best Value Reviews

To help us improve our service we regularly review parts of the organisation carrying out Best Value Reviews. These reviews go through a system that incorporates a challenge process, a comparison with other similar organisations, a competition element and consultation with those stakeholders who are relevant to the review.

The reviews are reported to the Combined Fire Authority with recommendations, which are also monitored by the Authority.

The outcomes of the reviews help us to identify our strengths and weaknesses and are an important part of our drive for Best Value for the people of Lancashire.
