NETWORK SECURITY MANAGER

Salary circa £32,000 (dependant on experience)(subject to job evaluation)

36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexitime working arrangements.

An IT Security Analyst with solid experience in IT Security policy and procedures is required by Lancashire Fire and Rescue, based at Service Headquarters, Garstang Road, Fulwood, to develop our in house network security expertise. You should have IT Security compliance experience of ISO 27001, together with familiarity of LAN audits, penetration testing and edge hardening.

You should also have a broad range of technical skills, not least in Active Directory and Firewall appliance security. Project planning or project management experience would be an advantage, as would an industry or technical (e.g. CISSP, CISM) certification.

This an exciting position with the requirement and scope to affect change and to drive the organisations security initiative (see attached job description). The role would also contribute significantly to creating the Service’s Information Security & Information Management policies and procedures.

There will be a requirement for the successful applicant to both drive and coordinate collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders and external vendors, as such the individual should be comfortable communicating with all levels of employees within an organisation.
