Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has introduced a new scheme to help lower the levels of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and associated fire-related incidents. Cage football will be introduced into neighbourhoods throughout Lancashire.
What is it?
This is a portable facility, which includes its own lighting system and it can be taken directly to young people in their community. Young people will be able to practise and improve their football skills under the watchful eye of fully qualified staff.
Who is it for?
It gives 8 to 17-year-olds a chance to join in with an enjoyable team activity supervised by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service staff and partners. It counters the tendency for them to fall into anti-social behaviour.
