TEMPORARY PRINCE’S TRUST PROGRAMME SUPPORT WORKER (12 month contract)
Salary £17,161 – £19,126 per annum (subject to job evaluation)
36.15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexitime working arrangements.
Based at Central Area Headquarters,Blackpool Road,Preston, out-posted to the Preston District, the role of the Programme Support Worker is to assist in the running of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service by supporting the Team Leader to ensure efficient and effective delivery of The Prince’s Trust Team Programme, which is a 12 week personal development programme for young people.
Holding or willing to work towards an appropriate teaching qualification, you will have good communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records. Able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to work outside normal office hours. A current driving licence and a demonstrable commitment to equality and diversity is also required. Experience of liaising with young people in terms of their development, though not essential, would be an advantage as would the ability to deliver training to small groups.
