At 02:49 two fire engines from Blackpool were mobilised to a gas leak in a domestic property on Gorton Street, Blackpool. Firefighters rescued two people from the property who were then treated by NWAS. Fire crews isolated the gas supply and used two breathing apparatus, one gas monitor and one positive ventilation fan to clear the property of gas. Crews were at the scene for one hour.
