Two fire crews, one from South Shore and Forest Gate were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Powell Avenue, Blackpool. The fire involved a sofa in the living room of the property and was quickly extinguished using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to clear the property of smoke. Fire crews were in attendance approximately one hour and twenty minutes. There were no casualties reported.
