At 3:17pm on 6th January 2021, two fire engines from Blackpool and Fleetwood attended an incident on West Park Drive, Blackpool to reports of a swan stuck in ice on a lake. Firefighters rescued the swan from the ice using swift water rescue equipment and a sled. Fire crews were at the scene for approximately two hours.
