At 22:23 on 19th August, one fire engine from Fleetwood attended an animal rescue on North Street, Fleetwood. The incident involved a cat that had become trapped in the guttering of a property. Firefighters rescued the animal using a triple extension ladder. They were in attendance for twenty minutes.
