Three fire engines from Fulwood, Chorley and Darwen along with the urban search and rescue team attended an incident involving a horse which had become trapped on a footbridge on Barnacre Close in Fulwood. Firefighters used large animal rescue equipment to rescue the horse with the assistance of a vet.
