At 17:02 fire engines from Blackburn and the large animal rescue team from Darwen attended a horse rescue in Olive Bank, Langho. A horse had barbed wire trapped around its legs and firefighters assisted the RSPCA using their bolt cutters to release the animal. They were in attendance for approximately forty five minutes.
