At 18:56 on 10th July, one fire engine from Nelson attended an animal rescue on Swinden Hall Road, Nelson. The incident involved a bird that was stuck in a kitchen. Firefighters freed the animal using a hearth kit. It was then released back into the wild. Crews were in attendance for 10 minutes.
