At 10:27 fire engines from Nelson, Great Harwood, Chorley and the animal rescue unit from Bamber Bridge attended an animal rescue at Clerk Hill Road, Sabden. Firefighters used rope rescue equipment to rescue two sheep from a cliff edge and were at the scene for two hours and fifteen minutes.
