At 19:22 on 24 May three fire engines from Blackburn, Hyndburn and the Hazardous Materials unit from Burnley attended a building fire on Hereford Road, Blackburn. On arrival crews found a fire in a commercial property and used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel to bring the fire under control. Crews remained at the scene for just under four hours and returned the following morning to carry out an inspection.
