Fire crews from Blackpool and South Shore attended reports of a fire at a premise near the junction of King Edward Avenue and Queens Promenade. The fire involved a stand alone outbuilding approximately 5m by 3m which was well alight when firefighters arrived. Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
