Fire crews from Burnley and Nelson were called to reports of smoke coming from a roof at a property on Guildford Street, Brierfield. On arrival firefighters found a fire involving a bedroom in a domestic property. Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and use a hose reel and triple extension ladder to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were in attendance approximately two hours and forty five minutes.
