Firefighters from Burnley were called to reports of a fire at the rear of an unoccupied property on Pritchard Street, Burnley in the early hours. The fire involved a quantity of rubbish in the rear yard of the property which firefighters quickly extinguished using a hose reel. The fire had begun to affect the back door of the property and firefighters were able to gain access and check there was no one inside. The cause of the fire is now under a joint investigation alongside colleagues from the Police. Firefighters were in attendance approximately thirty five minutes.
