Fire crews from Burnley and Nelson were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Hardy Avenue, Brierfield. The fire involved a domestic garage which had spread to a second wooden garage. Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel and some small tools. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour.
