Firefighters from Fulwood and Preston were called to reports of a fire at Greenside, Preston. When they arrived they found a ground floor flat well alight and used four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the property of smoke. There were no casualties reported and firefighters were in attendance approximately one hour.
