Firefighters from Preston attended a building fire on Lulworth Avenue, Preston. The fire involved the kitchen of the property and was extinguished with four firefighters using breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one ventilation unit. The incident involved items that had been left on the hob and had ignited.There was one casualty at the incident who was suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and received oxygen therapy from firefighters at the scene prior to the arrival of paramedics. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour.
