Firefighters from Skelmersdale alongside crews from Greater Manchester were called to reports of a fire at a derelict property on Grimshaw Road, Skelmersdale. On arrival firefighters found a fire on the third floor of the four storey building and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance approximately two hours.
