At 13:24hrs on 4th May 2020, one fire engine from Hyndburn fire station attended Avenue Parade at the junction of Eastgate, Accrington to reports of a car fire. Crews used one hose reel and one firefighter in breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze and remained in the scene for 15 minutes.
