Two fire engines and crews from Burnley were assigned to an incident at which radiant heat from a car on fire at the roadside began to ignite a door and window frames of the terraced house it was parked outside of. Firefighters temporarily evacuated the occupants of the house as a precaution and used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire and make the house safe for the occupants to return home. The cause of the fire is to be established.
