At 09:53 on 20th August, two fire engines from Chorley and Bamber Bridge attended a caravan fire on Blackburn Brow, Chorley. The incident involved a derelict caravan that was well alight when crews arrived. A derelict narrow boat on dry land was also affected. Firefighters extinguished the fire using two hose reels. No injuries were reported. Crews were in attendance for approximately an hour.
