Three fire engines from Morecambe and Lancaster were called to a caravan fire on Oxcliffe Road in Morecambe. The caravan was well alight on arrival and crews used two hose reels to bring the fire under control. One casualty was suffering the effects of smoke inhalation and crews administered oxygen therapy. They were at the scene for approximately one hour.
