At 17:11 on 21st January, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a fire at a domestic chalet on New Lane, Oswaldtwistle. The fire involved the chimney flue of the chalet property. Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel, small tools, a triple extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera. They were in attendance for approximately two hours and thirty minutes.
