At 15:36 on 01 May, three fire engines from South Shore and Blackpool, including an aerial ladder platform from Blackpool, attended a chimney fire on Broadway, Blackpool. The incident involved the chimney of a domestic property. Firefighters used one hose reel, a positive pressure ventilation unit, a Nimbus nozzle, and the aerial ladder platform to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately an hour.
