At 7:24pm, one fire engine from Barnoldswick was called to a chimney fire on Sawley Road, Grindleton. The fire involved a blocked chimney breast igniting. Fire crews used one 13.5m ladder and one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were at the scene approximately 50 minutes.
