Fire crews from Hynburn, Blackburn and Darwen were called to a commercial premise on Fielden Street, Blackburn. The fire involved a chip pan on the ground floor of the building. Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel, fire blanket and ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance approximately one hour and there were no casualties reported.
