At 00:38 on the 4th May 2022, four fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a commercial building fire on Lower Philips Road, Blackburn. Firefighters used one hose reel, two carbon dioxide extinguishers, a thermal imaging camera and three ventilation units to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
