At 11:25am on Thursday 10th November 2022, four fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended an incident on Accrington Road, Blackburn. The fire involved an extraction unit in a commercial building. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and tactical ventilation to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.
