At 04:31AM on 3 May 2018, four fire engines from Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn attended a commercial building fire on Chapel Street, Blackburn. Upon arrival, the crews found the middle unit of the premises well alight and used breathing apparatus, breaking in tools, Husqvarna saw, a 45mm jet and a ventilation unit to bring the fire under control.
