At 14:30hrs, four fire crews from Hyndburn and Blackburn tackled a fire at commercial property on Moore Street. On arrival firefighters found smoke issuing from the building and were able to gain entry to bring the fire under control. They put the fire out using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a fan unit. Crews were in attendance around two hours and an investigation into the fire is underway.
