Three fire engines and the Stinger from Blackburn, Darwen and Hyndburn plus an aerial ladder platform from Blackpool attended a fire at a commercial property on Heys Lane in Darwen which had spread to an adjacent terraced house. Firefighters used the Stinger and two jets to extinguish the fire. The building has been inspected by the local authority and removal of loose debris is still underway.
