At 11:20 on the 12th January 2023, four fire engines from Garstang, Lancaster, Fulwood and Chorley attended a commercial building fire on Market Place, Garstang. Firefighter wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.
