At 09:28 on 8th July, four fire engines from Burnley, Hyndburn, and Rawtenstall, attended a commercial building fire on Accrington Road, Hapton. The fire involved a quantity of waste in a commercial outbuilding. Firefighters used two main jets to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
