At 17:26 on 24th August, four fire engines from Lancaster, Morecambe, Bolton-le-Sands, and Garstang attended a commercial building fire on New Quay Road, Lancaster. The incident involved a quantity of waste inside a single-storey commercial building approximately 20x40m in size. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, three hose reels, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They remained in attendance for two hours.
