At 17:54 on 12 July, four fire engines from Penwortham, Tarleton, Leyland, and Bamber Bridge attended a commercial building fire on Station Road, Little Hoole. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
