At 17:42 on the 6th August 2022, four fire engines from Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Wigan and Kirkby attended an incident on Church Street, Ormskirk. The incident involved a fire at a commercial building. Firefighters wore breathing breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventialtion unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for two hours and fifteen minutes.
