At 18:15hrs, four fire crews from Longridge, Bamber Bridge, Preston and Penwortham responded to a fire on Longridge Road. The fire involved some machinery in a commercial premises. Crews used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel, jet, triple extension ladder and thermal imaging camera to put the fire out and make the scene safe. Firefighters were in attendance around one hour and forty minutes.
