At 16:06 on 28 February, four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood, and Penwortham attended a commercial building fire on Chain Caul Way, Preston. The incident involved chemicals that were well alight when crews arrived. Firefighters used one hose reel, one jet, and approximately 20 litres of foam to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. Crews were in attendance for approximately one and a quarter hours.
