At 18:51 four fire engines from Blackpool, South Shore and Bispham attended a commercial building on the Promenade. The fire involed rubbish at the rear which had spread to a neighbouring empty building. Crews used four breathing apparatus, one jet, two hose reel and a positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
