Three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham, and an aerial ladder platform were called to a commercial building fire on Liverpool Road, Longton. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire in the semi-detached property. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
